The COLORbar runs on a small crew of genuine artists — here’s who’s behind the chair, and what each of them lives for.
Lisa opened The COLORbar in 2013 with a simple idea: give Waxhaw a color bar it didn’t know it was missing. Twenty-plus years behind the chair, Goldwell to her core, and never happier than mid color-correction or hand-tying a fresh set of extensions.
Eighteen years in, trained between LA and DC, Patrick brings a big-city eye to vivids, dimensional color and creative cutting. He’s also a recording artist — so the playlist is in good hands too.
Eight years of blonding, vivids and precision cutting — Jenna is the one for a clean line and color that grows out right. Ask her about fairy hair when you want a little sparkle.
Coming up through the COLORbar apprentice program, Natasha has grown into a magnificent stylist — genuinely detailed with blowouts and color services, and known for a warm, judgment-free chair. Big on community and on making sure everyone who sits down feels welcome.
Karla is the friendly voice on the phone and the reason the day runs on time. If your appointment felt easy from the first hello, that was her.
